Improving Students’ Writing Skills through Writing Workshop: An Action Research

The present study aims at finding out how writing workshop improves the students’ writing, particularly their grammatical and mechanical skills. approach, which consisted of three stages starting from mini-lesson, sharing, was implemented on 28 students who took Writing II Course. An observation checklist, test, field notes, questionnaire were administered to collect data in this collaborative action research. findings revealed that implementation successful reaching objective after revision modification made conduct cycle two. After reshuffling format be independent improvements seen writing. Furthermore, most stated working a group allows them learn more about using proper grammar punctuation Related limitations study, recommendations for implementing future research are discussed.
